  3. Nice blog Kanak. I plan to visit Arunachal Pradesh after few years. Right now it is tough. I have always heard Arunachal Pradesh as a place often targeted or as a place China desperately wants. My father adviced me to travel anywhere, but when it comes to North-East he advices me to think twice and he is a bit afraid. He use to say "travel after few years". But this blog portrays Arunachal in a great manner. I enjoyed reading it. I want to see how a sunrise at 4:30AM in the morning would look. I like this line. "pending time with Pine and Bamboo groves, roaming in the alleys of calm and quite villages ,watching people spending the whole day working in either the paddy fields or the small markets and taking teeny weeny breaks to have the home made wine called Aapong"... nice description.

  4. "The perfect place to clear one’s mind of unnecessary thoughts and re-center oneself." -I agree on this point too... I use to travel within the Indian mainland for this .. :-) ... you know nice amount of biology as well. great that you have described the flowers with their scientific names instead of vernacular names..learnt few words like denizens. just googled for the meaning :-) .. nice description of tribals with lot of information about them. They need recognition actually. Possible only through blogs like this. Great work Kanak.. share it with other colleagues as well..nice pics as well.

  6. Hi Krishna, as per ur comment "U have always heard Arunachal Pradesh as a place often targeted or as a place China desperately wants.".The answer for former part is Arunachal is not targeted for anything. Its is as peaceful as other places.I am a born Arunachali and grew up as an Indian as other Indians do and I never saw any disturbances over there in years. You wont get to know the environment of a place until n unless u land there.I hope u wud be there someday to change ur mindset. The later part is very correct,China desperately wants it because Arunachal is very rich in natural resources. But claiming is a different thing, our government is not that weak that China will separate our brothers and sisters from us because a family is a family and no one has the right to claim a member of that family.I hope my explanation helps.
